Case Study no 17

November 2004 - Burleydam were undergoing a large investment program which included new frontage, improved car park, café and a complete refit of the garden centre.

To ensure that an adequate return on the investment was achieved it was necessary to increase sales turnover. The owners of Burleydam Garden Centre approached Staunton Rook and a marketing plan was prepared which was designed to increase sales turnover by 20% per annum for a period of three years. The turnover actually increased by a staggering 69% during 2005 and then by a further 20% in 2006. When you consider that the National average for the same 2 years was a decrease in turnover by some 10% this really is an impressive result.
